Anton Hires Jamie Schwartz to Lead Marketing & Publicity
Copenhagen-based distributor Anton has appointed Jamie Schwartz as Director of Marketing and Brands, a newly created role. Schwartz brings extensive experience from Sky and Focus to the company, solidifying Anton’s commitment to expanding its brand presence in the international film market.
Schwartz will be based in London and will report directly to Anton CEO Kim Wendt. His responsibilities encompass overseeing all marketing and publicity efforts for Anton’s diverse slate of films, which includes both established and emerging filmmakers.
Prior to joining Anton, Schwartz held significant roles at Sky and Focus. At Sky, he was involved in marketing campaigns for a range of content, while at Focus, he contributed to the promotion of high-profile film releases. These experiences provide him with a strong foundation for leading Anton’s marketing initiatives.
Anton has rapidly grown into a significant player in the film distribution landscape, representing a wide range of independent films and filmmakers.
